Welcome to Poker Room. By using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Poker Room. By using the App, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You must comply with all local laws regarding social poker games, gambling, and home games in your jurisdiction. Poker Room does not facilitate illegal gambling.
When you create an account: - Provide accurate and complete information - Keep your password confidential - You are responsible for all activity on your account - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access - One person = one account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Poker Room is a social platform that helps players find, organize, and join home poker games in their local area. We are not a gambling service, casino, or online poker room.
You agree not to: - Use the App for illegal gambling, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose - Harass, threaten, or harm other users - Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content - Impersonate another person or use a fake identity - Use the App to scam or defraud other users - Spam, advertise, or send unsolicited messages - Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App - Scrape data or use automated tools - Upload offensive, illegal, or copyright-infringing content
You retain ownership of content you post (messages, photos, game descriptions). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the App for the purpose of providing our service.
You are responsible for your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
When you host or join a game through Poker Room: - You meet other users in person, often in private homes - You are solely responsible for your safety, conduct, and any decisions - We do not verify identities, character, or background of users beyond email confirmation - We are not responsible for events that occur during in-person meetings
We strongly recommend: - Trusting your instincts about who you meet - Hosting in groups, not one-on-one with strangers - Following local laws regarding stakes and game types
To enable home games, the App reveals game addresses to participants once a game fills. By hosting, you agree to share your address with confirmed attendees. By joining, you agree to use the address only to attend the game and not to share it further.
Misuse of address information (stalking, harassment, theft) is grounds for permanent account termination and may be reported to authorities.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that: - The App will be uninterrupted or error-free - All games posted are legitimate or safe to attend - Other users are who they claim to be - The App will be free of bugs or security vulnerabilities
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poker Room and its operators are not liable for: - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages - Loss of profits, data, or goodwill - Disputes, injuries, theft, or damages occurring during in-person games - Actions of other users - Service interruptions or data loss
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0 — the App is free).
You agree to indemnify and hold Poker Room harmless from any claims arising out of: - Your use of the App - Your violation of these Terms - Your interactions with other users - Your violation of any law or third-party rights
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified through the App. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
